Welcome to my blog. I am a native Norwegian currently living in Gothenburg, Sweden with my Swedish beauty Johanna. I serve as a Pastor in Gothenburg Vineyard.
I worked as a teacher with University of the nations from 1996 till 2005 in several parts of the world. I have lived and worked in places like Argentina, South Africa, Palestine, Hong Kong and Pakistan to name a few. My primary academic training took place at Överås Methodist seminary, Gothenburg where I graduated with a bachelors of Divinity. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity at the “Det Teologiske Menighets facultetet” in Oslo. I also have a degree in Biblical studies with the University of the Nations.
The beginnings
Back in 2005 i stumbled upon the opportunity of creating blogs for people. And to test the blogging world out I created my own blog for testing purposes.
In Cape Town 2007
I didn’t do anything to promote my blog and updated it only periodically and randomly. Its not until the beginning of 2008 I started working with my “test project” again.
Profile
This blog started picking up traffic after the release of my thesis paper on the Emerging Church in 2008. This is also due to me actively promoting and working with the blog. I have since then been writing about topics which relate both to the Emerging Church movement and theology in general.
World and Politics in the landscape of faith is also a favorite of mine. And will certainly be an important part of the input I give this blog. Other interests as movies, travel and sports also receive a few words and thoughts from time to time.
