Hi Andrew,
Glad you found it interesting. Interesting with FF Bruce’s thoughts on Tertullian.
Feel free to borrow whatever you want for your blog!
Peace and grace to you

Hi! I was wondering if the emergent church has any views of Sophia as in a anonymous system from Ireneaus. I have not found much information on the interpretation of this. With the great lights, and such, Thanks.

Thanks for visiting my blog. If you could answer the couple of questions I put regarding Dan I'm sure my readers would appreciate it and also stimulate conversation.

THis is a really facinating article to which I will return and may actually borrow it as a post for my own blog( Credit given) if that's okay. A note I shall add is that F F Bruce felt that even Marcion understood grace more than Tertullian!

I have always believed there is nothing new under the son (sun).

I'll read you thesis on Dan Kimball later.
Peace and grace.

Hi Ljaxon,
Thanks for your comment. The Church Fathers are interesting not only for what they believed. But the fact that they in many ways pointed out the direction of what Christians believe today.

I have been hoping that the Emergent Conversation is not just "another movement" that will soon pass. Your thoughts are interesting and encouraging. I just wish I understood Norwegian and read your entire paper! Since I can't, I guess I will have to read up on the three Church Fathers you mentioned. My prior acquaintance with them has been very slight.
