Vi kan si at alle frikirker kom til Norden i tidsperioden 1860-1910. EFS,Missionsforbundet,Baptistene,Metodistkirken og Pinsebevegelsen.

Frikirker som har kommet til senere enn det vil jeg kategorisere innom en av disse.

Faktorene på hvorfor de kom baserer seg på klimaet som var i Sverige

på denne tiden og også på det International plan.
I Sverige spesielt er det 3 faktorer jeg vil løfte fram.

Your Majesties, Your Royal Highnesses, Honorable Members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen,

Grameen Bank and I are deeply honoured to receive this most prestigious of awards. We are thrilled and overwhelmed by this honour. Since the Nobel Peace Prize was announced, I have received endless messages from around the world, but what moves me most are the calls I get almost daily, from the borrowers of Grameen Bank in remote Bangladeshi villages, who just want to say how proud they are to have received this recognition.

Today Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank receive the Nobels peaceprice. Besides my full support in giving the price to the fight against poverty. I found a small detail very interesting.

The Grameen Bank is a micro finance organization started in Bangladesh that makes small loans (known as micro credit) to the impoverished without requiring collateral. The system is based on the idea that the poor have skills that are under-utilized. The bank also accepts deposits, provides other services, and runs several development-oriented businesses including fabric, telephone and energy companies. The organizations founder is Muhammad Yunus.

97% of the loans given are to woman. In the beginning they gave loans mostly to men but found that it didnt work. The men were to selfish and thought mostly about themselvs. The woman on the other hand thought of the family and the community as a whole.

So today these loans are very seldom given to men!

Micro credit is female empowerment is a quote made by mister Yunus. It is fascinating to see how this man has made such observations and changed the lives of thousands of woman all over the world. Across the borders of culture and religion.
